White House Down will get its Irish release on September 6th, which is quite a bit after its US release back in June. (VideoETA has it slated for a DVD / Bluray release in October)
The movie stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx, with Roland Emmerich directing.
With that combination of cast and director you can expect plenty of explosions and based on the clips I’ve seen so far you won’t be disappointed.

Though why Hollywood has suddenly developed a fascination for movies involving attacks on the White House is another question .. Olympus Has Fallen, which was released a few months earlier, had a very similar storyline.
So which one is the better film? Or does it even matter?
