The much awaited teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars franchise reboot dropped yesterday:

With Star Wars now a Disney property many fans were concerned about where the studio would take the franchise. The new movie, which was partially shot in Ireland, doesn’t go on release until December 2015, but since the first news of the teaser’s announcement yesterday afternoon Irish time it has come to dominate social media.

Prior to the trailers release rumours had spread that Disney wouldn’t be making the trailer available online and that fans would have to see it in a select number of cinemas in the US where it was to debut this weekend.
