Tom Cruise will star in the upcoming feature Top Gun: Maverick. As you can tell from the title it’s the sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun which also starred Tom Cruise.
In the 2020 release Cruise will star alongside Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman and Ed Harris. There’s also meant to be a few cameo performances from some of the stars from the 1986 film including Val Kilmer. Kelly McGillis, who played Cruise’s love interest in the original film, however, won’t be in the new movie.
